Ultrasonic Silt Level Sensor
The Ultrasonic Sludge Interface Meter, also known as the Ultrasonic Sludge Level Meter, is a contact-type, high-reliability, and easy-to-install and maintain measurement instrument used for monitoring the solid-liquid interface in wastewater treatment. It has a measuring range of 5 meters to 50 meters, selectable. The sludge interface meter utilizes the echo signals of ultrasonic pulses to measure the sludge interface value in the liquid. It calculates the height and thickness of the sludge layer by measuring the time it takes for the ultrasonic pulse to return to the sensor. This instrument is suitable for applications that require monitoring the solid-liquid interface, such as in primary settling tanks, secondary settling tanks, and sludge concentration tanks in wastewater treatment plants, as well as in sedimentation tanks for water treatment plants.
